"...the whole of the moon..."

Well, here's a little synopsis on my life at the current. I'm leaving for Savannah, Georgia around January 1st to enroll there. I'll be back for Spring Break and in May. So that's my plan after the next month or so. To back track a little, the musical at the college is going great. "Godspell" is a great success. So far, out of three shows, we've had two sold out crowds, with the first show seating an almost full house. We might even extend the run of the show. That's fantastic.

Another great thing about the show is all the great friends I've made during the production. There are far too many to name, but I thank God for their company. I especially thank them for making my last months here more worthwhile. I'll miss them terribly (along with others). I'm gonna cry when I'm driving to SCAD now. :(

I know it's three in the morning, but I don't care. Tonight was one of the greatest, if not the greatest, nights of my life. The musical went great, and I was so ready to go home or go get some food afterwards. But, my friends had a different plan. I went back into the dressing room to get my keys and leave, but I was ambushed. Becca tackled me, along with Michael and Scott. I had no idea what was going on. So I went with the flow. It was so fun, because they handcuffed me, and put a blindfold on me. I was then ushered through a lobby of people, then to Sarah's car that was waiting. Then I was shuffled around the wonderful town of Wise to throw me off on where we were going. About twenty minutes later, we finally arrived to our destination. I got out of the car, still blindfolded & handcuffed, and walked down a hill, and through grass and leaves. I stepped up into a room, walked for a few steps, and then someone took my handcuffs off, and removed my bandana. There, before me, were all of my friends from the play. They had drove me around for twenty minutes, just to go to Patty's house (which is like five minutes from the theater. What clever people they are.) Everyone started singing Happy Birthday to me, all the while showered in the glow from Christmas light decorations and birthday confetti. It was honestly one of the best moments of my life. I wanted to start crying because of the trouble everyone went through to pull that off. God, it's going to be hard to leave now. Thank you guys, for a great surprise birthday party. I love you all! :)

I'm nineteen officially now.

I got a Mr. Potato Head, Mandy Moore's CD, my scepter, Eddie Izzard DVD, and the best group of friends I could ask for.
I honestly feel blessed to have them in my life.
