After some miserable weeks, I decided to take a look at what's going on in LJs, and found this long meme in the journals of sildil and jaiden_s .

It's long enough to take my mind off other stuff, so I decided to do it. Put behind a cut since it will probably bore most people.

When I look up recepies for Snowball on the net, I find many different versions of it, some sweet and some sour (especially if they use lime juice), but my favourite is the sweet version where Sprite is used instead of Lime. I LOOOVE sweet drinks!

The colour is pale milky yellowish with a white foam on top, and it is served with a straw, cocktail cherry and various decorations. It is often served in tall glasses, but I prefer it served in a round brandy glass which makes it look just like a snowball (hence the name).

One part of egg liquor (also called Advocaat) is mixed with crushed ice (and sometimes a little vodka), and then spritzed up with two parts of Sprite until it forms a white foam on the top. This drink is wonderful and sweet and often used as a Christmas-y drink. Makes me thirsty just thinking of it! :)
