me time on the blog again
for the people who have just friended me.... yes, this is my blog... my personal blog, my fandom blog, my bitching blog, my working blog, my anything blog, in which i post things that i want to share with at least one or two people on my f-list. though my everything blog and my japanese blog are elsewhere. on translating, i translate what i want to translate, and, occasionally, requests.
now... getting back to some me-time on the blog...
i've once again expanded my knowledge on the streets of pittsburgh... i walked into the opposite direction of centre ave than last year.. ahem. i'm just glad to find combos again... combos.. and vegetable chips! i'm a little sad that the only bookstores within walking distance are the 2 university bookstores and about 5 used bookstores... making it hard for me to get the book i want. -____-;; i also want some art supplies.. and for somebody who's not very artsy, i'm rather picky about my supplies... hm.
mike made pulled pork for dinner.... mmmmm..... yummmm... though i think you could smell it up 2 flights of stairs... through a couple of closed doors... o_____O it smelled so great, though. and tasted great.
saw the last parts of kamen rider kabuto: god speed love on youtube... did what i think happened just happen?? ie, loop? it's not original and it frustrates me a little... i'll have to watch the entire movie sometime, though.
also found the yumehikouki pv on youtube.. where was that originally from? i could swear it's not on the vampire bonus dvd............ i'd probably be willing to shell out for the original, but, where-oh-where?
found out that there are people who have dedicated themselves to translating ire's and gaku's entries... making the majority of the blogs i'm following under somebody else's project.. which means that i can back out to random translations again... but oddly i've grown a little attached to checking every morning for renn, masa, gaku, ire, and kazuki (though i tend to not translate kazuki's since somebody was already doing it by the time i thought of kicking back into t/l).. heaven knows how it ended up that way.. i was leaning towards renn and genki in the rikkai cast, haha. and for a while i followed takiguchi and masei... weird. bottom line is i'll probably continue on as is, until i get sick of myself doing this.... o____O
did i mention i've been playing elebits? i suck at aiming on consoles and stuff (remember me talking about halo 2?), but i still play this.. still rather hard, but, surviving so far... got to lvl 11 or 12 (it's been a couple of hours since i turned off the wii after some dazed staring)... still really cute.. can't believe i've managed to trap myself a couple of times (high obstacles surrounding me after my throwing rampage).. and apparently i'm fairly good at destruction and chaos in the house... =p they finally let me out on the streets... XD;;
btw... glad i'm not in seattle right now. heard the city's pretty much shut down again... we really need to be more prepared about these things.. this is the 2nd (and almost 3rd) time in about a month... ~_____~;;
