Dick has been back out of the bar for a few days, and each day he's out of the bar, he grows more restless. He needs to get things started soon, he knows he does, but it's... hard. He doesn't want to leave his home, he doesn't want to throw himself in to the lion's den. Most of all, he doesn't want to have to tell Roy he has to do either of those

Dick glances at him, and grins slightly. "Might take awhile. It wasn't exactly a big part of the bat training."

Roy sits down on the couch and stretches. "That's where I come in."

"So you're the new teacher, huh?" Dick leans over and gives him a quick kiss. "How do you plan on doing that?"

Roy kisses him back. "Well, I've got my ways. If you've got time."

[blue_bat]

"Well, I think I had something scheduled for an hour from now, but I -guess- I could reschedule it..." Yes, he's joking.

Roy smirks. "I guess you will."

[blue_bat]

"So lead on, teacher man." Dick's curious as to what he might say or do.

Roy pulls Dick into a kiss and then deepens it before pulling Dick onto his lap. "Mm. Well, we can do more once you tell me what's up."

Haha. Roy's not dumb.

Dick looks startled at the interruption. "Tell you what's..." He trails off, then almost laughs. "You play dirty, Harper."

Roy looks smug. "I sure do."

Dick shakes his head slightly, and plays with Roy's collar as he tries to figure out the words. He knows better by now than to put things off when Roy asks. "I have a mission," he finally says, carefully.

"You're not going all Joan of Arc on me, are you?"

[blue_bat]

Dick raises an eyebrow. "Joan of Arc?"

[not_speedy]

"Mission from God?"

[blue_bat]

"Far from." Dick shakes his head. "It's a bat mission."
