Ton of Bricks.
So, I feel like I've been thoroughly squashed by a ton of bricks this week...anyone else feel that way?
Seriously, I got turned down by the ONLY digital art company I want to work for because I'm "overqualified"...and then I find out that mine and my husband's wedding rings are missing in the North Carolina mountains...and THEN I receive a notice that I've been denied health care...and THEN my sister tells me that the $130.00 snake I got her for christmas has been run over by a car.
Yep. My church softball team got creamed twice in a row tonight, and one of my best friends is moving, the hits just keep on coming. Oh, well, float like a butterfly, sing like a bee...or some such nonsense. Roll with the punches.
*Sigh* maybe at some point, my parents will stop hating each other and I'll score a six figure design contract. And then, maybe God will take me in a completely different direction, and I'll be better for it.
