Okay, despite my dislike for the blog generation, in which if you do not blog, you dont know whats going on. Thats the way it felt for a while. Sorry i got out of touch everyone but my life went crazy for a while. I tried emailing or iming sometimes but with no luck.
So this is my life:
After OSI i went to work at a place called Calltech, it sucked. Sorry anyone who likes it there. Then i got recruited by a company called Intellirisk to Skip again. I gave it a shot, but the jerks called me a liar and fired me for being me, and my car getting broken into. They were hipocrits letting the sup do things and then firing me for them. So i was unemployed after a ,month of applying for about 20 jobs a week and nothing in response, i decided to go back to school.
Now i know the answer is going to be, but you complain about debt so much, i do, but after talking to several people, i decided that i would rcoup my losses quickly when i gradute. The Masters wasnt getting me anywhere, and i really tried. I was feely pretty lousy, even starbucks wouldnt hire me. And id been tossing around the idea of going to cis gradschool or using tuition reimbursement from a company so i said why not.
So here i am at my student job typing. Im going back for my BS CIS and ill be done SP QTR 2007. It will be rough but in the end ill be happier. I should never have left engineering in the first place. I should never have tried to force myself into the hummanities mold. I love what i studied but ive realized that i never loved it enough to make it a career. It is an interest. As my friend Lothar says "I went to school for what i liked, now im going to school for a career."
Dont get me wrong im finding all the PC stuff cool. A new obsession. I plan to do Databases and if i can work it out security/cryptography.
I have 2 pretty cool student jobs. 1 working on Ag Campus for the extension office. Making webpages, my first non-template page is almost done ill put the link up when it goes live. BTW good luck with that job Gothic. Second, i work at ACCAD doing clean-up on motion caputre stuff, boring but fun.
So my first Qtr was okay.
Debating if i have time to do faire this year, wanting to go to GenCon SoCal, but with costs on everything going up i dont know.
So that is where im at.
Id like to see peopl again.
