The phone doesn't make it to three.

Cooper, at the Bookhouse, is sitting on a cushion on the floor. Two rings is enough time to exhale fully, open his eyes, and reach for the phone.

"Dale Cooper."

"Dale."

Her tone is carefully controlled, in part from her still-lingering unfamiliarity with the nature of the device itself.

"It is Moiraine."

[spcl_agt_cooper]

"Moiraine." Cooper glances out the window -- still light outside. Not much time has passed, either. He's pretty sure. "You've returned from Milliways, I take it."

"I have, yes."

A beat.

"There is that which I must discuss with you, however, I am afraid."
