Recent Thrift Store Purchases
An Ecko Unlimited varsity jacket ($10). Not exactly my style, but very warm:
Books, including one on the philosophy of poetry, 'The Poetics of Space' (I know it's a cut above a lot of other philosophical tracts, because I don't understand a word of it.) (approx. $1 each):
First five seasons of 'The Simpsons' on dvd ($20):
Clown action figure. Leguizamo's character is unforgettable, nasty, menacing, hilarious, all rolled up into a pus-filled hot pocket ($3):
Three Old Spice shaving mugs, each a different version, from an era where men didn't need advanced technology to shave (90 cents each):
33 coffee mugs from the long since abandoned amusement park The Enchanted Forest (25 cents each):
A graphic equalizer/amplifier, admittedly low-end but functional ($12):
A stereo cabinet ($20). Now I can finally put all my components together in my living room:
And lastly, a horror VHS tape, 'Invasion of the Space Preachers', that 'pits a delirious dentist, a pencil wielding accountant and a shapely space woman against an egotistical intergalactic evangelist!' (50 cents):
