Recent Thrift Store Finds
Homco Wall Clock, made in the US in 1979 ($5). This type of kitsch seems to increasing in value (plus it made me smile):

Men In Hat's 12" single "Safety Dance," the quintessence of 80's Synthpop ($1):
Nintendo and SNES controllers, $3 each:
RCA CC305 VHS Camcorder ($12). In perfect working order. What I like best is that it uses standard size VHS tapes--so I can watch what I've recorded in my VCR.
A Michael Jackson poster ($6). It appears to be a bit of folk art--someone painted a canvas black, stippled white dots around the border, then pasted what appears to be a sales promotion placard on it. ("Dangerous" seems like an odd name of this album, judging by the artwork; "Fantastical" or "Surrealistic Circus" would be more apt.)
