Commute of Darkness

Oct 30, 2006 19:44

I've been asked to make a public entry for reasons that I no longer remember. Something to do with non-LJ friends wanting to read something I write. Hence, the once-in-a-blue-moon public post that may not have anything to do with TV.

"I don't care what team he's on; I just want him to get some play." Possibly the funniest thing I heard all day.

Probably won't be seeing Joe this week. He's busy with homework (due Wednesday) and leaves Friday for WI. So, ok, there's Thursday night.

I miss Daylight Saving Time already. Now I'm sad. Well, make that SAD (seasonal affective disorder). Coming home from work in the darkness isn't fun. It's almost reason enough to move to DC and have a short enough commute so that I'd have some daylight left, even if it's twenty minutes. A roughly 90-minute commute from MoCo to DC is ridiculous.

The new Firefox browser with its built-in spell check is handy.

Speaking of Blue Moon, I'm back in Rehoboth Beach for the post-Thanksgiving Day weekend. Yay to duty-free shopping. (Hehe..."dooty.")

I have a headache.

Given that I've been bashing Damita Jo in comparison to 20 Y.O., I'm going back to that album to see why I don't like it so much.

Ok, Firefox, really, "Damita" is a word?
