I've been wanting to go out on a long walk down to the point for the past couple of weekends, except we've had 3 straight weekends of rain and foul weather.
Rain usually makes for shitty light, though. Dramatic rain looks fantastic but is difficult to photograph well. And a lot of the time, it's only raining a little bit or it's not even raining but just very overcast, and you have dull grey light over everything.
Mind, I don't object to getting wet or walking in the rain - although it can get rather depressing in winter or if walking on a muddy track, so in rain I prefer if I'm walking on a surfaced path in city/etc... But I don't think it's usually great for taking photos.

I want to go down to Deer Island and get better photos of Boston Harbor than what I currently have.

Turns out the USS John F Kennedy has been moved out of the line of site from Deer Island anyhow. :(
I wanted a shot of the huge ass aircraft carrier against the Boston skyline.
