"We had a small last-minute minimalist ceremony in my aunt's back garden. A divorce lawyer married us (oh the irony!), and two of the four witnesses were hyperactive dogs (which, knowing Sparrow, is fitting.)
"Strictly speaking, I don't feel any different. However, I do feel like I've accomplished something big. Sparrow's emigration has been started as well, which contributes to the feeling.
"Now we just wait and hold the fort until the papers process and we're called in for an interview..."
