Of course you can disagree with me. "I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." ;-)

I agree with most of your corrections, but I will dice semantics and say that republicans and neo-cons are now two different things. What will kill the republicans this november will be the split that has formed between the old-fashioned small-government republicans, and the power-hungry reaganite neo-cons. This split was aggravated by the recent paedophile scandal, as moral issues were the last big stronghold of common belief between the two groups. (One of my old friends from BYU, a staunch conservative, now shares opinions with me on Bush and the current neo-con regime. We met in the middle--I gave up on dems, he gave up on reaganites.)

Yes, the Iraq policy will change within the next 4 years, but I'll take the bet with you that it won't happen under Bush. But I'm very much wishing that you are right on this, not me.

I also hope for the best with the Supreme Court, but Hamadi v. Rumsfield seems almost too little too late. They've already lost a substantial amount of their ability to check the president (eg. the wiretapping investigation that was blocked because of lack of security clearance.)

I also agree with you about Hillary. All things being equal today, if she runs in 2008 the dems will lose.
