We are buying a house out in Queen Creek. It's going to be an awful, awful, commute to work every day. I will be driving at least 2 hours a day, and go through a tank of gas a week. It's a good thing I drive a Hybrid... James doesn't want me to complain about that anymore because it makes him feel bad. He tried really hard to find a house he could afford closer to town.

I really am excited about the house. I went out there today to look at it. We need to get it painted and replace the flooring with tile throughout (except the bedrooms) and once that is done it will be beautiful! It's a huge, four bedroom. One of the rooms is going to be my very own where I can do my workouts and I'll probably also use it as an office for doing schoolwork. The room at the end will be our guest room, which is where the bed I have now will go. And there's still another room that James can keep a bunch of his crap in. Before we move in we need to buy a refrigerator and a washer and dryer. And a new bed. California King! James is very tall and when he sleeps on my little full size bed his legs hang off the end!

It's kind of overwhelming everything we have to do... and when we get into the house there's still a million little projects to take care of. Putting in ceiling fans, replacing the messed up lock on the sliding door, tightening up the fixtures in the master bathroom shower, and I'm sure a ton of other stuff we'll notice once we're living there. Thankfully our house payment will be quite low. Lower than my rent on a one bedroom apartment now. We plan to pay double the payment to pay down the principle and get the house payed off in 14 or 15 years.

It seems like I am finally starting my grown up life, and it is really pretty scary. I'm nervous! But oh so excited at the same time. I can't wait to make a home there with James. :-)
