Okay, so today, I wake up. My alarm goes off, and for some reason I think it's a weekday, so I think I have more time than I do. Then, a few minutes later, I realize that I have practice. I jovially gallop to practice with gillen and the rook. Get to practice. Change. Get on boat. The fucking ANCHOR is in my boat. I have to row behind him. We do three 12 min pieces. Not only is the boat rushing--flying back and forth on the slides in or out of the headwind--but the ANCHOR is fucking NOT PULLING--at all. AT ALL. Not only does he suck, he's not pulling, emphasis on the not pulling. So I'm stuck rowing between someone who rows like shit, someone who rows like a robot, and in front of robotron is the ANCHOR who doesn't pull and rows like shit. After we were done with each piece, he's looking around. I tell him "hey, keep your fucking eyes in the boat." Coach moves me to stroke on the third piece, which is nice because now I don't have to look at the bastard, yet still know he's not pulling. I get up to stroke, and the cox asks me what I think. My reply? "I think there's a disconnect between the bow four and stern four, and that some people may not be pulling as hard as they could be, but that's not my call..." All the while in a fairly sarcastic tone. I'm sure Coach could tell I was pissed after each piece. The last piece, we did MUCH better. More power on the front end. I was super pissed and wanted blood. Got some positive feedback from a few people as well as a nomination for the polkadot jersey, but the roomie got it. Good job roomie. oorah. anyway, wanted to get that off my chest.
I'm going to see "The Passion" today. I'm sure you'll notice that I have noted that in previous entries, but what the F ever.
Hope you're having fun at the muddin' place, Dixie. ;)
Happy B-day BA and Stewie.
