I met John Mayer!
My mom and I got up around 8am and we were in Philly by 9:30am. The line was long, but not as long as I thought. We got a ticket, and it turns out we were the last 5th and 6th person to get a ticket. Only 6 tickets were left when we got there. We waited outside until they let us in Tower Records at noon. I saw two people I knew. I would say, but we have spies in my journal. We went upstairs so you could really see the stage. My camera died =( My mom bought Heavier Things (John's second album). He did like 4 songs, "Bigger Than My Body", "Come Back To Bed", "Why Georgia", and another song I forget the name. LOL. Then we got in line. We got in the front of the line since they let the people upstairs go first and then the people downstairs had to wait because they were put in order of their ticket number, so it took them forever lol. We were behind this one girl who said that they were like 10 girls who actually went to Staples and bought tickets that look like the ones they were giving out. That's why that one guy kept checking everybody's ticket number. When we got up there, you couldn't take a picture with him, so my camera dying (actually the battery) was a good thing. He was so sweet, and so cute! He signed the front of his first album, and signed my John Mayer teeshirt from last years show. So awesome I got to meet him! Too bad I can't go to the show tonight.
Left Philly, came back home, got lost before coming back to Jersey. I get all the street names confused. Vine, Market, Chesnut, Cherry, Locust..Blah! At least I know Tower Records is right near City Hall and down the street from Merrion theatre. Got food, mom was being mean, came home, K jumped on Peanut and tried to kill him. Sicko. Now it's only 4pm and I'm really bored. Oh well..
