Title: Splinter
Author: Me! Lorraine
Pairing: Q/X
Rating: R
Summary: Xani tries to set the scene for an anniversary, but nothing seems to go right.
Disclaimer: These characters don't belong to me, although I do own the evil thoughts I have regarding them.
Note: These characters are very close to the ones Franzi1981 and I play in the Museworld RPG universe. Written because we have some heavy angst for our characters coming up and the muses must be satisfied at times.

Splinter

Xani hopped around the apartment on one foot, a splinter embedded into the big toe of his left foot. He was hurrying, trying to finish his preparations before his bondmate came home. It wouldn't do to not be finished, He would be mad.

"Ow, ow, ow!" He muttered, spilling melted vanilla scented wax on his forearms as he tried to move the lit votive candles from their spot on the foyer table to low coffee table in front of the fire. "Great!" He set the candles down and threw his hands up in exasperation. "I give up!"

At that moment his mate walked in through the front foor of their apartment and tossed his keys into the small bowl on the table in the foyer. His brows rose and a grin split his face as he saw his collared mate struggling to kneel and seem good and submissive and rather petlike.

His observant gaze took in the foot Xani was favoring and the white wax plastering down the hair of his forearms in messy blotches. "Problems?"

Xani bit his lip and tears sprang into his eyes. "I'm sorry My Lord," he whispered.

Qui-Gon tsked sympathetically and bent down to pick Xani up as if he weighed no more than their pet kitten, Cosmos. He sat them on the couch and cradled Xani to his chest.

"Sshh, Love," he soothed. "You're fine."

Xani sniffled, "I wanted everything to be perfect, it's our 3 month anniversary of the first time we were together." He looked up at Qui, "whatever you do, don't go into the kitchen."

Qui smiled gently. "I wasn't aware that you ever did."

Xani laughed, "well, not normally", he looked up slyly at Qui. "I have other talents."

Qui sucked in a breath, his heartbeat speeding up. He buried his face in Xani's neck briefly, inhaling his scent. He lifted his head when he felt more in control, meeting Xani's expression.

"Let's see to that toe, my boy," he reached for Xani's foot, while at the same time Xani squirmed away. He stopped, "Xani.."

"Hurts," Xani whined, petulantly.

Qui blinked, "it's a toe, what could you have done to it that's worse than the floggings I've given you?"

"That's different," Xani said, pouting quite enticingly.

Qui dove in fast, kissing the pout out of his bondmate, then snatching the foot up to examine the abused digit. Xani's back hit the seat cushions with enough force to cause a surprised oof! break free from his lips. With a delicate touch, Qui drew the splinter out with his fingernails, despite Xani's wriggling.

"Stop!"

Xani stopped squirming and lay back, his arms crossed in front of him with a another sulky pout gracing his lips.

"That's better," Qui told him, then slowly drew the sore flesh into his mouth. His tongue swirled around Xani's big toe, turning the hurt into spreading pleasure. Soon Qui had him squirming for more, his hips pressing up trying to drive his cloth covered erection into the air, desperate for friction.

Qui's hand rubbed Xani's bulge firmly as he sucked not just the big toe, but its mates. With a surprised cry, Xani came suddenly, hips bucking wildly into Qui's hand.

Qui released the toes from his mouth and grinned. "Better?"

Xani smiled slowly, once his brain cells started firing again. "Well, My Lord, I do have these wax burns on my arms.
