So, we finally got to see the finale and I have to say, I'm not quite sure what the fans were up in arms about. All shows have an end and if we're honest, the Arthurian tale is supposed to be heart-breaking. It's kinda the point. Of course, to my thinking, WWII was kinda a good time for the once and future king to return. Then again, there was Churchill, so... *grins* Anyway. To my opinion, the end wasn't bad. And Morgana died as anticilmatically as she should, because I don't think the emotion should be given to the evil character's death, but to Arthur, who only wanted a peaceful and prosperous kingdom.
I would have liked to see his years of reign last longer. But with network TV, we don't always get what we want, right?
