I was going to talk about something personal, sparked by the death of Michael Jackson, then stopped, because I don't know that I'll ever be able to go there.
Spent the evening working on the outline of the Star Trek story I've started. Thankfully I now have a roadmap. Not so thankfully I can see this thing is going to be long (by my standards, lol.) I'm excited, though, because the exact things I spent the most time working through are the ones the people who have read picked right up on. Yes! So, might have to look through a few martial arts books and perhaps hit a few Vulcan culture websites. When in doubt, ask a Trekker!
I'm kind of grateful for the Heroes marathon of doom. Something about watching a huge and epic saga has kickstarted me back into writing. Even if Spock doesn't brains, he mindmelds with them. Mmmm, brains.
