there's no time left for losing.

Listening to the music I listened to when I was in high school always gets me reminiscing. I really like seeing old friends, and picking up right where we left off. There have been so many friends that I've had a falling out with, we've lost touch, or we simply don't get to see each other much... but when we do see each other, it's like we never skipped a beat. Then there are other friends that I was close to in high school, and I see them now... and sure, it's nice to see them, but that's where it ends. It's just interesting to see where our lives have taken us, and how our relationships change accordingly.

Good things about today: organizing my cookbook, enjoying my covered porch when it's raining, and getting further into my book.

Not so good things about today: having an intense headache that was leftover from last night, said headache causing me nausea, and not getting much done around the house.

I also realized today that while my belief system is growing and changing, I am a firm believer in the world having balance. This occurred to me when I realized that, while I was having a fairly miserable day, someone else in the world was having a fairly spectacular day. For some reason, it made the crippling headache and the debilitating nausea seem not so bad.

That's all the insight I have for you today, kiddies. After re-reading this post, I think I can actually make it public. ;D
