Everywhere I go
When I turn I see
There's always rain
Following me.
Thunder roars
Lightning flashes
Swirling debris
Causing gashes
Water is pouring
Black clouds above
The wind is howling
Powerful shove
People walk by
With dry happy grins
I'm alone, scared, and drenched
The one who never wins
The wind haunts my thoughts
The clouds comfort hurt
The rain washes it down
No one sees the dirt
Everywhere I go
For everyone to see
I'm followed by a cloud
That always rains on me.
