After one week and a half of teaching, I've discovered that one-on-one teaching is very different from a whole classroom of students. The plus side is there is no take-home work due to the fact that all the paperwork is confidential and therefore remains at school in a special room. Also, I am primarily an English teacher which I love to teach over other subjects. Next semester when schedules change, I’ll try to work in classes on Music and the Media, World Cultures and Bible. In addition to teaching English, I’m preparing a student for the writing essay section of the SAT.
