well. he's awake now. he looks so good.. he's walking, talking, he's got color in his face. almost a miracle. like night and day. i'm so glad though cause maybe now i can tell him a few things before he goes to bed. i'm afraid he wont wake up like this tomorrow. in fact, i know he wont. he is never good in the mornings. hospice has a nurse here 24 hours now. they write about him every hour. he still hasnt ate - been 4 days. he cant keep anything down. but he's awake and he says he feels good, so that's all that matters. the nurses have said that they think this is his last burst of energy before he goes. you know how they say that when people are doing bad, they have this burst of energy and they look so good and then all of a sudden, that's it. well they said that might be whats happening now. i dont know what to think about that...

never went to bed last night... head is swimming.

we'll see what happens tomorrow. one day at a time.
