I really like making up recipes more of less as I go. I have always enjoyed cooking that way just letting the creative juices fly. But only in resent years have I had the knowledge base to bake that way. Baking requires more understanding of the interaction of ingredients and how they will effect the texture and taste of the final product. Especially since you can't really taste as you go and correct that way.
