(no subject)
I realize I haven't made a real post in a very long time, sorry. Mom sent me an email basically saying that she hasn't talked to me in a long time and since last night I was thinking the same thing, I though I'd update this instead. Basically because if I haven't talked to mom then no one else knows what's going on with me either.
So my life is very boring and unsatisfying. I'm still working at Kohl's with very weird hours. This week I will work about 26 hours but next week he didn't even schedule me. It's frustrating for a lot of reasons. I will start subbing now that school has started but I have no idea how frequent that will be.
Minnesota is still very much Minnesota. It was hot and humid on Tuesday and then dropped into the 50's that night and stayed cool/chilly all day yesterday. A LOT of people came in to buy jeans and sweaters for themselves and their children yesterday saying how they should know better by now but were still caught unprepared. Arg. Although in all honesty I prefer the cooler weather but not the cloudy days like today.
After looking at the list from Caleb's post about books, going through a romantic movie kick about two months ago, and being dissatisfied with my recent reading selections I decided to try reading Jane Austen. I was quite impressed with how easy Pride and Prejudice was to read and have found Persuasion pretty easy as well. I don't know how many of her books I'll read, or how many more from the same time period, but I've been very satisfied with my reading selections for the first time in awhile.
I'm sorry if this post makes no sense, I feel very jumpy and scattered right now. I would have just called mom tonight but I close (at Kohl's) so that won't work.
