Summary: Rabbit-yuto has been waiting for all his lifetime.
Warning: Cross Gender (Hikaru is a girl here, I make it in that way since I’m more comfortable with that idea when I have to pair him or her in this case, with Yuto), un-beta, RARE OTP? Lol
Rabbit-yuto has been waiting for...as long as he remembered, probably for all his lifetime. Lots of people come and go, and neither was willing to choose him. One said he was too skinny. Other reasoned he was incredibly long for a rabbit, thus he wasn't cute like rabbit supposed to be. There was even one who accused him for a crazy-rabbit for his /little/ hyperactivity.
Whatever. Rabbit-yuto didn't care. They were just simply not meant to be with him. And it was their loss, after all. He still believed that one day, his one true master would come and put him off this misery.
This pet-shop wasn't that bad after all. During his stay, he has made three unique (if not weird) quiet close friends. There were Kei the kitten, Yuya the puppy and last but not least Chii the mice. And as weird as it seems, the four of them got along pretty well and were having fun all the time.
Until someone picked kitten-kei on one sunny day and then puppy-yuya on the following week. So, their quartet started to fall apart. Still, rabbit-yuto was happy for his friends. They have been here much longer than him anyway. They deserved that. Beside, mice-chii, his number one partner in crime was still here, so everything was perfectly fine.
Unless, on that particular rainy day, which usually makes the pet-shop customer-free, someone (or maybe two) did come into the shop. And that moment the customer stepped into the shop, rabbit-yuto's heart started to pound wildly. There she is! He thought. My master has, finally, came to pick me up. I'm here master. I've been waiting for you foverer, please notice me.
As if she heard rabbit-yuto's yearning yell, someone stopped in front of his cage. And there stood the most stunning lady (yes, rabbit-yuto did address her lady. she's going to be his master after all) rabbit-yuto ever seen in his life. With that soft wavy short brown hair and a lil chubby cheeks (rabbit-yuto could already imagine how those cheeks would cuddle him adoringly). This is it! Good bye not-so-bad pet-shop, my master has came to...
"Is it just me or that was something off with this...rabbit?"
...or maybe not. And just like that, rabbit-yuto were thrown up back straight from the moon and the girl (she was no lady at all rabbit-yuto decided) slipped away.
Why master, why?? Rabbit-yuto feels like crying his heart out.
"That was quite a bit harsh, don't you think? He looks perfectly fine to me. And adorable too, aren't you lil' fella?"
Suddenly a very, like veeeeery (rabbit-yuto would love to stressed that out) warm hand caressed his head lovingly. As he lifted his head up he was met with the warmest face ever and his heart started to pound again, but rather steadily this time.
So it was actually you...wasn't it? Rabbit-yuto hesitated but feeling hopeful at the same time. Please let it be her. I'd probably as good as dead if she was going to deny me too.
"Doesn't appear so to me. You always have a weird-taste, Hikaru-nee... (so, master's name is Hikaru, such a warm name) This mice, is what i called adorable." The first girl countered as rabbit-yuto realized she was stopping in front of mice-chii's cage.
"We just simply see things differently, i guess?" Rabbit-yuto's master chuckled (that was when rabbit-yuto noticed the crooked teeth which he thought adorable by the way, and yes he has addressed him as his master already, she is soon going to be after all) before continued calmly," So, you won't mind if i take this lil fella, right Ryo-chan?" as she claimed him. (see...?)
And just like that, rabbit-yuto fell in love.
****"So, what should i call you hmm, lil fella?" Hikaru-master asked him later that night when both of them were lying down on her bed.
Yuto. He tried to deliver his mind as he gave her his best kira-kira eyes. It won't reach her, he kno...
"Yu...to?"
What? How amazing his master could be, really? He felt like kissing her, letting her know how much he was grateful of her.
As if on cue, Hikaru-master did give him a slight peck. "Yuto it is, then. Yoroshiku ne~"
****"Yoroshiku, Hikaru-master..." Yuto kissed his forehead softly and joined his master in her deep slumber.

It didn't explain how the next morning Hikaru found her new-found rabbit-pet gone missing, and there was this fine young man with the same name in his replacement.

so, last time i wrote something was...back then in 2014? o.O wow! and look who has succesfully brought me back! (yep, yutohika it is!) lol i know this story was totally random and...idk doesn't make sense? (blame yuto for all his cute-ness during pet love motion!!) but i do hope you'd still enjoy it anyway :) comments and reviews and corrections are very much welcomed :DD
