guess i haven't updated in a while, oops. well, still leaving for virginia on saturday. originally my dad was going to come here and pick me up but then my mom got jelous and wanted to drive me up there so she could spend a few more hours with me but then she found out that she had to work so my parents are going to meet half way. so yay, i have to load my shit in my mom's car, unpack it and put it in my dad's car then unload it again. what fun. because my mom has to work i have to leave home by 630, something to look forward to....not!!
OMFG!!!! fantasia, the singer came into my mom's store, toys r us and my mom sold her a thousand dollars worth of stuff for her daughter and her neice! well, no one could transport it because a lot of employs had to work and my mom was off the next day so she volunteered to deliever it and fantasia was ok with that. well, my mom needed help to load up the stuff and everything so she asked me to help her and of course, i did. i knew the night before i might meet her so i bought her cd on the chance that she'd be home. well, we had problems loading it so we borrowed my mom's friend's truck to deliver it to her home. we also put it together for them--it was two play house thingies for her precious four year old daughter...awwww. the other item was for her niece, which was one of those toy car thingies that you can drive. it was so cute. so yeah, fantasia was home and i met her. she apparently had some kind of tattoo on her side but i couldn't read all of it, but her shirt was short enough that her entire stomach was showing. she said that i look exactly like my mom, which i get a lot. she's very down-to-earth and very laid back. she's very sweet. it sucked to be in hundred degree heat though but i was at a celeb's home so i was cool about it and everything. i also got to meet three out of her four children and her parents...she's a single mom so i didn't meet the father of her kids. but everyone was so sweet to my mom and me. and their house is gorgeous!!! she also has a small white dog named diva but they call her ms. d. and her children were so polite, even her four year old. whenever we requested she'd move so we could have more room to build the toy she was like "yes ma'am" or "ok" it was so precious. she even asked me to carry her to the porch cuz she was afraid of the "spiders" that were getting her which were actually mosquitoes. it was quite an experience. plus, it used to be a football player's home, i just can't remember who it is off the top of my head...darn. but i mean, i stepped foot in a celeb's home which has so much history with famous people and everything. this is definetly one experience i am so grateful to have had considering most people don't get this opportunity. and what's really cool is that since i bought her cd and listened to it for the first time cuz i've never heard her music i realized that i can relate to all of it in some way or another, especially the first for songs. my favorite is Truth is which is number 3 on the album.
well, this is probably the last entry i make before i move because i'm going to be incredibly busy finishing packing and such so feel free to call me cuz it's easier to multi task on the phone rather than on the computer. love you all!!!!
