its so hot here
like eight billion degrees
and our first hotel had no airconditioning
death
but now we have airconditioning
amazing!
but i ate pasta for the first time tonight in fact
but i've had about a billion pieces of pizza
amazingness
at first we were in rome
and that was fantastic
and i took pics with these roman soilders
and then afterwards we had asked them and taken the pics they told us we owed them 5 euros ugh ripped us off
but we saw tons of stuff i cant even list it all
coloseum
the forums
pantheon
capitoline museum
circus maximus
...
and on and on and on
you name it we saw it
and today we left rome and came to florence
tomorrow we start again insanely busy
over the next three days we will see the city
i know tomorrow we will go see the david
ah i'm so excited
and other than that over the next three days we will see:
the uffizi gallery - most famous gallery in florence housing the birth of venus and tons of other famous works
galleria dell'accademia - which has the david and all the incomplete ones
bargello meuseum
bapistry - which is the place with the iron doors the fog showed us pics of
the duomo - giant dome thingy thats awesome
the ponte vecchio
basilica di santa maria novella
basilica di santa croce - i get these two mixed up but one of them is where i think michelangelo is buried and where galileo was um lost the word but basically excommunicated cause of the sun being at the center of the universe thingy
and a synagogue that is designed after the hagia sofia
(i think thats just about everything)
i cant wait you have no idea
the history is just UGH
so amazing
i cant even find words to fit it well
and the food is amazing hehe
we're basically filling a card worth of pics a day and my dad has been downloading them onto his laptop just like everyday hehe
(i'm at an internet cafe right now hehe)
