Set in an alternate universe: Malik is a 22 year old college student working as a late night dj for the university's radio station. After losing his left arm, as well as his brother, in a catastrophic car accident, Malik struggles to balance his emotions with the world around him, becoming cold and harsh in an attempt to shut down the pain he feels. But some people are just too hopeless to ignore as he soon comes to realize. And he soon finds himself - slowly but surely - moving on as he learns that life will continue forward, even if others have left you behind.

Slight Altair/Mailk - but I think their bromance is epic! So, see what you want to see.
