Been listening to one of J.A. Seazer's earlier works with the Tenjo Sajiki theater group (later Banryu Inryoku), Jashumon. It and other albums by the group convinced Kunihiko Ikuhara to ask Seazer to arrange the duel songs in Utena. It's interesting to listen for the stuff that sounds a lot like the Utena Seazer. Particularly "The Heretical Faith" and "Gentle Praise," which remind me a bit of "The Natural Compatriots' Palace Perspective Book," Nanami's second duel song. It's wonderful stuff. /nerd
