Exchanging the worn and old for the shiny new
I'm thinking about letting my renewed commitment to this website lapse. I'll still post here every once in a while, when the mood strikes me. But the majority of my postings, I think, will be on Facebook.
Let's face it, this site has changed a bit since I first got my hands on an account. It's gone from pockets of friends keeping up with each other online to fandom groups treating it like a poorly laid-out forum. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, and I'm not backlashing. My sister could spend an entire day on this site, I could never have, and will never be able to. It's a different site, is all, and I think posting a not on Facebook achieves the same goals as posting an entry here.
TL;DR Posting less frequently here, more frequently on Facebook. This journal will remain standing.
