Something good could actually happen to me.
Yesterday I went to the Culinary Institute of Chicago's open house. It was really impressive in all aspects.
I think I'm going to do this. I have to sign off on a lot of loan money, but I think this is finally something I can get behind 100%. It helps that most of my time in the "classroom" is actually me in front of a skillet, cooking.
And not only that, but the atmosphere is fantastic. The student housing is in Presidential Towers. The school itself is two blocks from Millenium Park, and four blocks from Reckless Records and Madison Street Comics. And there are tons of eateries all over. I would be living smack in the middle of downtown Chicago, going to school for something I do at least twice every day. This is probably the best opportunity to cross my path in forever.
