how do you feel about expansive epics, pop culture references, extensive casts of hilarious and terrible people, post-modern story telling, impeccable pacing, and science fiction as a genre?

Also, it's 2:30 in the morning here and I'm traveling tomorrow so I have to sleep but if you send me something I'll check it out and probably come and flail at you on Monday when I get back.
1. those are glasses, not square eyes 2. yes, he has arms 3. it's formatted like a text-based computer game kind of, so you just click the arrow at the bottom to go to the next panel 4. if you prefer to know your characters first and get invested, i suggest 'the finer details of gay cluckbeast' on ao3 because it will make clearer why john in act one is actually the most charming doofus to ever be an inappropriate dumbbutt. it's also the fic that incepted me into homestuck. it's got some formatting mistakes, but it's overall really, really fun. 5. if you want to just get started, SALLY FORTH. here be some really. stupid. jokes.
it's so good. and i have no hockey/homestuck friends

(i totally will still be your friend regardless of whether you try to read homestuck, but OH MY GOD if you have TIME ON YOUR HANDS YOU SHOULD DO IT it is SO GOOD and the fandom is AMAZING)

okay, so one of my posts goes into some of why homestuck is awesome (LOL EVERY GODDAMN FEEL), but here are a couple of great links.
Tor (as in the publisher) takes on describing Homestuck, which is... difficult, but they do a pretty bang-up job.
PBS suggests that it's the internet's Ulysses.
and The Scott Pilgrim Guy Interviews The Homestuck Guy! It's kind of a long interview, but it's a good one. Might be hard to follow.
