Songs
Long or not so long ago Andrea asked me if I knew of those quizzes posted on the internet which, among other questions, asked "if you had to pick a song to describe yourself, which would you pick?".
And she is asked me if there was any song which I could pick like this. Like this I could not think of anything better than "It's my Life" by Bon Jovi.
The point actually was that she had now found a song which she would pick. It is "Not a Pretty Girl" by Ani DiFranco. I believe it fits her (even very well).
Still I was now thinking about the question for me. I don't assume that there is a song out there that manages to describe the whole of me, but one or two which deal about something I can relate to, yes I did think so.
I still liked the idea of "It's my Life" the problem being that it is only parts of the lyrics which I like, but they don't apply directly since he is the one telling others to not back down while I relate to in the sense of not backing down myself, not encouraging others.
So that is a problem.
Uhm, I had thought that maybe while writing this I would come up with a better song. I haven't. Proof that at the end this quizz question is not easy to answer like that.
Anyway, I will continue searching, perhaps I will mention it here when I do find something.
