Each time I start a new page, I rip off the ones in front. I never fail to cringe at my past entries because most of the time, they're rather superficially written solely for entertainment purposes and to update people on the daily grind. In any case, I thought I tend to come across as a naive, innocent and bimbotic nineteen year old in my posts most of the time. Partially true to a certain extent i guess, I've been told that I look more like a secondary school kid in quite a few occasions. Of course the more private posts conjure a different side. Hypocrisy shouldn't have a negative connotation to it. It's just a matter of the extent of it, and whether you openly admit to being one.
Writing/Blogging, I realised, keeps me in touch with myself more than with others. I need to slow down the passing of time and bookmark the milestones. I wouldn't want to look back and wonder what in the world happened in those years.
