(no subject)
So apparently livejournal does not understand that I like to update late at night since I am a college student. There are always performing database management crap when I want to update. So, instead I am wasting time at work. The formal was on Saturday and I totally had the hottest date around. Yeah, that's right, I brought Ashely. You all wish you could have been so lucky. It was a ton of fun. There was some drama, but decided I really didn't want to get involved, so I didn't. One of the joys of no longer being chapter president, or really having any sort of position of power. Ashley and I got sufficiently drunk, not so drunk it was an issue, but drunk enough to be fun. (Ashely you still need to send me those pictures). On Sunday we went to the MFA. That was wicked fun too. We saw all the Greek pots, and other Greek things and hopefully Ash got some stuff for her thesis. Then we went and looked at the other art, which was beautiful. Unfortunately, Ashley noticed this really nice green thing like 3 rooms over. So we go to look and it turns out that it's part of a modern art exhibit... and the exhibit was like all made of dead animals. There was a complete, preserved lamb in like formaldehyde. It might have been one of the more disgusting things I'd ever seen. Then there was this black painting looking thing which, if I read the card right, was flies stuck to resin. The pretty green thing Ashley saw? Dead butterflies on like green glass or something. I thought we were going to be sick. Apparently we are not fans of modern art, it seemed to just confuse us. Anyway... I suppose I should pretend to do some work.
