Rain, rain, Go away...
Well it was a nice campground.. I can say that..
Just not the best time to be there. We arrived at the site in the early afternoon and were greeted by the expected, "light rain". By the time we had the tarp and tents set up, it was pouring pretty bad.. but it wasnt too windy so we were OK. To make matters worse, Im sick as a dog with some kind of lung infection.. So I ended up going to bed at like.. 7:00 and getting up at around 9:30 and then promptly going back to bed around an hour later. :( I had a restfull nights sleep, (dispite the lumpy mud we were sleeping on) But it rained all night. In the morning several small lakes had formed around our camping area. Ty dug some trenches to redirect the water a bit, In the end however we were forced to give in to fate and head back to the city (of doom).
We made the most of our time out there but now, its time for dry warm clothes, and a cold beer from the cooler. Peace out.
