(no subject)
I swear one of these days I am going to be able to keep up with this thing! So school is pretty much kicking my butt right now! I have so many group projects and papers that I don't have the time to meet with everyone! Oh well! Somehow I will get through it all and then I will be done with college! I can't believe that it is almost over but I am so ready to move onto bigger and better things!
So the engagement is going well! We haven't started planning anything and the number one question that everyone keeps asking me is if we have set a date and no we haven't yet. All that we know is it is probably going to be summer or fall of 2007, so we still have a while. It really sucks because I would really like to get married in the fall but this fall seems like it is too soon but next fall seems like an eternity away. I guess like all the other years they will fly by! I was bored yesterday and was avoiding doing school work so I went to Eckerd and bought a wedding dress magazine. I definitely found some that I like and I just hope that my dad won't be a tight wad and will actually spend some money on his only daughter's wedding. I also found the cutest bridesmaids dresses in the book also. With my luck by the time that I need to be thinking about all of this all of the cute things that I have found will not be there anymore. Oh well....I guess it is just fun to look. Just like it was fun to look at engagement rings before we got engaged.
Valentine's Day was fun. I went home on Monday before Valentine's Day and spent the night. On Monday night, we decided that we were going to go out to dinner so that we wouldn't have to wait a long time because everyone would be going out on Valentine's day. We went to the Japanese Steakhouse that is at the Mall of Georgia and it was soooooooo good! I love Japanese food! After that we came home and between me and Chris we drank a whole bottle of wine....lol. Let me just tell you that when we decided to go to sleep, I was out like a light. On Valentine's Day we slept in and then got ready. We got a call from Chris's mom saying that Kathy Elliot's dog got loose and that we needed to go over and help them find her. After looking and not finding her, Kathy came back with her. Somehow she ended up on the other side of the highway! After all of that, we went out to eat with Ms. Long (someday soon I am going to have to stop calling her by her last name...lol), Kelli, Kathy, and a friend of who they lived in River Colony with to Frontera. It was fun. Kathy ordered two pitchers of margaritas and I had one glass and was already feeling it because they were so strong!!! I decided to stop and told Chris that I would drive home if he wanted to keep drinking (aren't I a good fiance?) After we got home, we just watched TV for a while and I decided that I would just spend another night and just go back on Wednesday morning. It was so nice to be able to spend the night at his house for 2 nights because I don't think that I have ever done that before!! I know that it sounds like a simple Valentine's day but that I all that I wanted. I don't need big presents or anything to know that Chris loves me!!!
Well I guess I am going to go take a shower and actually get ready for the day! I only have one class today, thank goodness!!! Then I am probably going to come back here and work on one of my many papers!!! Talk atcha later! Peace out!
