Long time, no update!
Well I know that it has been a while since I have updated. I have honestly just been busy and haven't really even thought about it! Anyways...I have had a great Christmas break so far! It is going by way too fast though! Let's see, I got home 2 Fridays ago and ended up having to go back to Dahlonega on Monday. See, the teacher let us take our final on the last day of class, but he said that we had to come back during our scheduled final time to get our tests back because if he didn't have a class in the classroom during finals time then he would get into trouble with the Dean and Department head....so needless to say, I drove an hour back to Dahlonega to go back to this class. Well he passed out our tests and told us who have A's in the class...and I got an A :)...and said that we could leave, that we didn't have to stay. So I drove an hour up to Dahlonega to spend 5 minutes and then had to drive an hour home....how miserable!!! Anyways....I worked on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of last week. It was miserable let me tell you! I was on the phone the entire time!! Haverty's is getting a new regional manager because Ben Haverty is retiring and he is making the office (which that is where I work) do so much stuff. I had to call everyone that was getting deliveries on Saturday and Tuesday and confirm that they knew they were getting a delivery and that we had the right address. I have never talked on the phone so much in my life!!! I am seriously thinking about leaving there and not working next semester! I mean, I have my whole life to work and I might as well enjoy my last semster as a college student! I mean, I really haven't enjoyed it so far, I might as well live out my last semester ever!
On Friday night, it was Ashley Swick's bachelorette party. We went to see the Nutcracker (which was very good and very cute) and then we went to Ippolitos to eat afterwards. I had a lot of fun because I have not seen Ashley in over a year (even though we have kept in touch through IM, I still missed seeing her). It was good to catch up with her. On Sunday was her wedding and that was actually more fun then I thought that it would be. Ashley looked beautiful and I have never seen her more happy. I was kinda sad that now she is Ashley Clody because now we can't call her Swick anymore!!! Deryl was at the wedding as well as Keith and his daughters so it was fun to catch up with them. I also got to talk to some of our old "guard moms" which was fun too.
I am finally done with all of my Christmas shopping which I am so excited about! YAY! Don't have to worry about that anymore! Thank goodness!
Last night, Me, Chris, Steven, and Katie went out for our Christmas dinner together. We ended up going to PF Changs. We decided that instead of giving each other Christmas presents that we would just go out to dinner and that would be our Christmas present to each other. It was fun. We had to wait about an hour and 15 minutes though. After that, Chris and I went back into the mall and looked at ENGAGEMENT RINGS!! Yes, you heard me right! I was actually trying them on and it felt so weird, but I was so excited to be doing it! And geez, I found some that I really liked!! I have no idea when he is going to propose but he wanted to see what kind of rings that I liked so that he would pick out one that he knows that I would like. (Don't say anything to my parents if you see them because he has not "asked" them for permission yet, so they know nothing about this!!!) I knew that we were going to get married on day and it was so exciting to be actually looking at an engagement ring. It makes me so happy and so excited when I think about our future together! I was so excited last night that I could even sleep!!! LOL!! I know I am stupid!
Well I am going to wind this down. I have some errands that I need to run so I will talk atcha later!! Peace out!
