Investigation

Well, I've been playing Hitman lately, and it is a great game, but sometimes you have to suspend your disbelief a bit much. Here is the way I imagine a debriefing would go at a generic Agent 47 crime scene:

“Yep, it was my shift to guard him. Assassin? Here? No, I didn’t see a thing. Yes, I was guarding the boss’ door the entire time. Well, most of the time. See, this guy came down the hallway. I didn’t really take a good look at him, cause we all tend to look the same with the hats and all. Anyway, he just stood there staring at me for a good 5 minutes or so. I guess he was looking pretty inconspicuous. Anyway, 3:17 rolled around and I took a stroll down to the other end of the hallway like I always do. I couldn’t really tell you whether the door opened behind me or not, as I’m a little hard of hearing. When I came back, that guy was gone, probably back on patrol. So I took my post directly in front of the door again, guarding it. I figure if somebody’s trying to sneak by me, it’ll be harder if I’m right in the doorway. Next thing I know I’m waking up with this weird burning sensation in my neck. And I’m in the meat cooler. We decided to install it in the bathroom for easy access to ice cream bars while you’re on the john. Eventually someone started complaining about the overtime and went to ask the boss if we could go home early. Well, funny thing, we found him trapped under that piano. Seems he was just unlucky enough to be walking under it at the exact moment it fell. Heck of a freak accident.”
