misty air thick with dews lingered in, the pink hues of morning ending dawn forced him to peek one eye open as the cheerful chirpy birds singing mornings to earth could be heard.

he shifted when his exposed calves hit cold air and furrowed deeper, the soft denied snoring giving him a little smile on one peaceful morning like this.

tracing the soft skin, he allowed himself to be immersed in a state of peacefulness. the warm body heat next to him did him good, as he’s one to be always cold in the mornings when waking up alone.

a small yawn and he looked down once more to see the face of his spouse.

his.

two months of marriage and he’s unabashed in admitting he’d never been happier ever before now that he had someone to share his everything with.

even lazy kisses and shy glances is enough to make his inside flips.

digging deeper beside junsu’s body, yoochun placed a small kiss on junsu’s cheekbone before closing his eyes back, the comfort of having someone in his arms and the curve of the small lithe body against his making him to forget nearly everything of the nightmares he’d been having.

it was nearing summer when the handsome man got back to his home; smelling nothing but hardships and sickening blood. he looked clean, yes, but inside he felt as if he is a rotten meat that had been long dead and covered with insects.

he sighed, and went out from his room to the main quarter where he is to be expected by his father. the park resident is big. spacey even but without of use; if only his father had been kind enough in making the slaves of theirs live in the rooms instead of living cramped in another small house.

“father,”

the proud silhouette turned, a still good looking man in his mid forties. his father is the most influential man in this era; doing business with the palace and ordering armies up to his likings; him being the fourth generation of the park as the defense .

even he had no other choice but to follow when on the day he turned sixteenth, his father had came up to him bearing news he’s to be a leader leading nearly ten thousand soldiers into a battle field.

no wonder the old man had insisted him to be learning all kinds of skillful arts before.

“ah, yoochun my boy. general lee had told me of your achievement in killing the general of the east wing,” he was patted down by the shoulder, a mere affection he’s allowed to feel from his very own flesh and blood.

he bowed deeply and put on a small smile. “achieved greatly with a detailed plan by lord jung’s son, and my men’s bravery.”

yoochun was the one of not liking to take credit all to himself when it was clear the others had worked hard as same as he had been for it.

a laughter; throaty and deep, finely suiting a man reeking of power could be heard. the tense aura had been lifted from the two parks and it had been long since the young man had last heard his father’s laughter this carelessly.

and yoochun found himself smiling sincerely and sipped on a cup of tea, hiding his embarrassed smile.

lord park smiled knowingly of his son’s close relationship with the jung’s heir. he did not have anything bitter towards the jung so he’d only be glad that yoochun somehow is friend with yunho. “ah, the young master jung yunho is a fine man then.”

a nicely fragranced tea with a little taste of saccharine filled his mouth. he’s surprised he’d taken likings to it already. “yes that he is.”

the lord nodded and wounded out a piece of paper. he’s all but to do business now. “well, since the war is over for now, would you like to take a little tour around the town then yoochun? i’m sure much has changed since you last stayed here son,”

his eyes boring into his young son’s face and smiled warmly when yoochun bowed his head and moved to get up.

unknowingly, he sighed. he may not show enough love to yoochun but only the heavens above knows how he’d prayed every night for his son’s safety.

“lord yoochun!”

he ran across to the front gate of the jung’s resident and laughed before playfully hitting the tall lean man mimicking a girl’s squeals.

“yunho you sly boy! have you visited your father’s home then?” yunho was his childhood best friend. and only he is to be allowed in mocking him left alive.

he nodded before pulling yoochun in step with him. he smiled, all gorgeous almond shaped eyes and thin lips. “father would kill me if i dare to go somewhere else before visiting them first. i swear mother’s fussiness had influenced him greatly. he almost babbled when i left in a hurry today.”

yunho scrunched up his face feigning annoyance and sighed. his glinting eyes showed otherwise.

yoochun smile sadly. he envied the fact that yunho had always had a great relationship with his father ever since he’d known the jung years ago.

“that’s because you refused to bring along your slaves.” answered yoochun ignoring the annoyed look making into yunho’s handsome face as soon as he muttered the words.

he’d also been warned by his mother to bring along jonghyun and leeteuk but he didn’t see any needs to when he’s capable of defending himself better when he’s alone.

he’d even managed to sneak out right under the lord’s close inspections and ran off to see yunho.

“ah, you’re the same yoochun. i heard from father that lord park had assigned two more to be with you,”

he shrugged, not wanting to talk about it any longer.

yunho seemed to understand and beamed up. “oh! come here yoochun, we have to go see the town.”

yunho pulled yoochun and they almost stumbled upon their steps. the fact that they were two of the most feared man by enemies and respected by their men in the battlefield had long gone in the young men’s mind when it’s only them together.

walking and chatting happily, they wandered along, yoochun frowning and sighing when yunho seemed to know everything about the town he’d left for so long now.

“jihye sent me letters, you know that and she’s the one been telling me everything. that silly girl, she also said that there’s a new entertainment place that has opened not long ago.”

“entertainment place?” inquired yoochun not really understanding yunho’s devious smile.

they had stopped suddenly as yunho looked around. “a place where you can get your own beautiful slaves entertaining you,”

he pointed behind yoochun and he turned around to see young girls in beautiful colorful clothes giggling bashfully beside a man fitted to be their father. “is that-?”

“yes, now come, we have to see them ourselves,”

“what are you doing love?”

a hand had snaked around to the front of his body, a small startled sound escaping before he leaned back comfortably against his husband, his small fingers still moving to finished rolling the thin paper sea weed.

“i’m making bibimbab,” he faced yoochun and smiled brightly. “you like eating them, yes?”

he recalled seeing yoochun eating over his third servings when he’d first made them after a week of being a spouse to the young master. of course, the skill of cooking was to be applauded at madam kao and mostly jaejoong for helping him mastering the arts of culinary.

yoochun widened his eyes and gasped playfully. “how did you know i have a dream over them last night?”

junsu laughed and turned his attention back to the front, face warm and his heart beating fast. nearing three months, and yoochun could still make him blush like the first time they laid eyes on each other.

the handsome man flashed lines of teeth and eyed the way junsu moved his fingers gracefully, the side profile of junsu’s flawless face making him soar in happiness. “am i hindering you?”

he placed his chin on his spouse’s shoulder and swayed their bodies from side to side lightly.

“no,”

truthfully, yoochun was making it hard for him to concentrate. the warmth surrounding him was wonderful and the smell of yoochun’s breath made him all uncomfortable when he remembered how sinfully sweet yoochun’s mouth had tasted on his tongue.

yoochun smiled, sensing junsu’s shy eyes not wanting to look at him and the heavy intake of deep breaths.

“are you sure, love?”

he nodded and took another deep breath when yoochun’s fingers quivered over his cheeks, hints of teases from his words making him relax into his husband’s touches.

he’d caught junsu’s chin, slowly turning him around to see the brown orbs fluttering shut and a small sigh escaping hotly.

junsu curled and tightened his fingers around his husband’s wrist as their lips pressed softly making junsu’s face heat up when yoochun’s hands settled on his waist. the inside was much comfortable, warm and smelling of tea, yoochun’s taste never failed to amaze him.

they’d gotten in after they’d been requested to show their family heirloom by a man of tight features, hands on sword, yunho showing off the infamous warrior jung sword while yoochun of a piece of valuable jade mixed with the feared family crest.

“ah, my lords, welcome.”

a slender woman perhaps of the age of forties greeted them as soon as they’d stepped in. the inside decor of the place was so amazingly incredible, and so foreign to yoochun. he’d never seen such many colors blended into one place before.

they were seated in a vast room, from which yoochun could see leading to another pathway he’s sure containing different kinds of room.

a petite girl, all wide smile and slightly mismatched eyes brought them drinks, hair flipping as she lowered cups and a jar like teapot with steams of hot air coming from it.

she locked gazed with them before bowing her head down and gracefully walked away, not even faintest sound of footsteps coming from her.

dainty fingers brought a cup to a red lips. “my name is madam kao, and this place is being run for you young lords to enjoy life.”

the woman’s voice was deep, a hint of proud layered behind her humble words. her face was still beautiful even though it was obviously powdered, her neck showing a deeper shade of skin and lines.

yoochun had his mind off when yunho decided to talk to her, all regarding of business and what like. yunho knew yoochun wasn’t one of to be interested in entertaining people with power, letting him to be in charge every time they had to.

yoochun was all quiet power like, all silent till he in the end surprised the unexpected people when he strikes back. stealthily deadly.

finally, yoochun asked to explore more of this place when she’d told them that the place had their very own gardens just at the far side from here. yunho looked skeptical when he’d first shown interest in gardens,

madam kao had an amused face covered by her shy smile.“of course.”

yunho had stood up as soon as yoochun stepped out from the back door, and turned to see madam kao smiling to him with thin lips and wrinkled lines at both edge of her eyes.

“is he really going to be there madam?” asked the young master. worried marring his handsome face at the thought of his dear friend.

it’d turned into a sweet smile however as soon as a familiar figure, slender body and red lips entered the room, the newcomer greeted her with proud smiles when yunho had gotten up to greet him with tender touches.

sipping from the small cup, she stood up, taking her cues and leaving the two couples talking in hushed tone and light laughter behind.

she made her way to the back of the brothel with pretty smiles when her slaves bowed down at her as she passed by.

she’d caught the glimpse of her beloved one making way to the garden and closed the bamboo door with cautious hands.

reassured my lord park, this place will bring you out from any kind of misery you’d had before.

by the time junsu laid on his back while yoochun had his arms resting on top of junsu’s stomach, it was mid afternoon and the weather had turn dark, air heavy with warm air rising and the smell of rain was rich.

“yoochun, would you like to eat now?” junsu asked shyly, throat scratchy and fingers grasping the hem of the silky sheet drenched with sweat smelling from the both of them over his body. when yoochun turned to face him, shifting closer till their foreheads were touching each other’s, junsu licked his lips and put his thumb along his husband’s red lips.

it was moments like this that still made junsu, a former sex slave blinked repeatedly as if wanting to make sure he wasn’t dreaming. someone like him whose fate was deemed to serve another person all of his life shouldn’t even be allowed with someone as wonderful as his husband.

a small laughter escaped when a growl of empty stomach could be heard. yoochun rolled on his back and took junsu’s fingers with him along before moving up from the bed.

“stay there junsu,” said yoochun when junsu scrambled up. “what?”

he stared up into his husband’s beautiful eyes and blinked when a chaste kiss was given to his lips.

“you’d let me take care of you now. i’ll go get our food.”

he left while wearing the silk hanbok, his hair tied up behind with little bangs covering both sides of his face leaving dumbfounded junsu on bed, biting his lip when yoochun winked at him after showing a little skin of his behind.
