Veronica the Business Woman?

I've been doing a lot of thinking about how I could make a living lately since costuming is currently a no go. Commission work is great and awesome, but might not always be available. I'd also need a way to fund my side projects (ie Golden Gothic). So I was thinking about potentially starting my own business. Nothing serious at first, mostly just making odds and ends.

I'd start off with two etsy shops, one with the goth alt stuff that I'd like to make and another one for kitschy craft things that might sell better at first. If either of those takes off then I might expand to bigger things like going to craft fairs and maybe cons. And if its not enough to live on at first I could use it to fund side projects and other things that I enjoy more (ie Golden Gothic). Currently I'm hoping to purchase a serger in the next couple of months.

Who knows. It's just a thought, and it would keep me creating and such. I dunno, I'm just trying to think of ways to make a living doing what I enjoy and love. Is it crazy?
