So, I went to Dorian's Parlor last night and had a blast! I met up with a bunch of lovely people that I have not seen in quite some time and it was delightful. : )
I also met a few new people and that was awesome too. : )
The best news is that I spoke with Kali from Passional and she's running a design contest that's been extended to the end of this month. Here's the info. Winning however means a $200 gift card redeemable at PASSIONAL Boutique (Hurray for a new corset!), Studio photo shoot with photographer Jerry Bennet (connections and press), Interview and photo on passionalboutique.com (yay more press!), Feature in the PASSIONAL Fashion show at the Diabolique Charity Ball in November (did I mention lots of press?), and Possible inclusion in the fall collection of PASSIONAL Brand manufacturing run (oh yeah, they'll make an item and sell it in their store!). So its highly advantageous that I do this. I'm going to be researching different military styles later tonight when I can't bear to sew any more so that I can get something to them by Thursday night.
I am once again highly motivated because I know I can do this. Just have to take the time to do so. : )
