This summer has gone by in a huge blur. It was actually a very long summer. I'm trying to think of all the things I have done in the past 2 and 1/2 months:
♣went to New Jersey
♣saw Marist and Fordham
♣lost some of my morals
♣gained some new beliefs to make up for the lost morals
♣went to Cape Cod
♣fixed our crashed computer single handedly
♣turned 17!
♣saw my uncle, aunt, and cousins from Oklahoma that I have not seen in at least 4 years
♣worked my ass off
♣pushed my curfew
♣went tubing, swimming, laid out, spent days just on the lake
♣met new people
♣endlessly harassed the employees of Wal-Mart
♣hours of sporadic, spontaneous fun
♣worked my ass off (and got $$$)
That probably isn't all of it.
It is very sad that all of this is coming to an end, and I'm sure in a couple of days I will be missing it very very much. But Marge and I decided a couple of days ago that it is time for summer to end. After a while, your freedom doesn't feel like freedom anymore.
I'm going to miss you, carefree freedom.
