May Angels Lead You In

Nov 18, 2004 21:19

Today an angel was taken from us, a woman who devoted her life to shaping the lives of children through her teaching and her loving heart. I remember sitting in Mrs. McNeece's classroom. I remember that we performed the Polar Express. I even have the books that we illustrated and she bound with a hardcover. First grade was a lovely time. I remember how much fun Drama Club was in fifth and sixth grade. I remember her smiles and laughter. But now these memories are all that are left. I should've gone and visited her when I had a chance, but I didn't. When I wrote the dedication to the scrapbook my mom compiled (of past Drama club productions) I cried because I just wanted her to get better. I wanted to put a smile on her face and I wanted her to tell me that she would be getting better. But now I cry because she's gone. I miss you already Mrs. McNeece. May angels lead you in.

Rest In Peace Mrs. McNeece
