"Alrightie, so all you do is press this, andd the cash register pops out. See?" Key pressed the button he was talking about and his new little intern who was on his first day opened his eyes in amazement. And the little chime made him emit a giggle.
"Oh? Wowwww! That's so cool! I haven't seen anything like that before!" Taemin started poking all the other buttons to see what they did. He even pushed the day back in a couple times and mashed in the button with his slim fingers. His "master" Key laughed at the little one.
"Trust me, it's not as exciting after two years of working in this junky place." Key rolled his eyes, he remembered his first day at working at Starbucks. One thing he wanted caught his eye, it wasn't a dessert, or a drink, it was what was behind the counter. In fact, the prize he got and now manager, was calling his name.
"Key. I need your help with something!"
"Ahh, Onew! My mouth is still tired!"
"AHH! Shut up! I was talking about that!" Key laughed at his cute, awkward boyfriend Onew. He could just imagine his face right now if the door didn't separate the two.
"Well, our "boss" is calling me. So, can I leave you here? I think your good now. Hwaiting!" Taemin shook his head nervously. He sat at the register for maybe a good hour before anyone came in. Good thing we're having a slow day, Taemin thought to himself. Taemin sat and stared at the desserts in the glass display with a O_O look on his face.
Omo, so many desserts. I wonder if i'm allowed to eat one... Ohh.. My stomach hurts.
Taemin was drifting into a withdrawal of sweets as he licked his lips. He was so absorbed into pretending to eat the delectable prizes, that he didn't notice someone walked in.
"Uh, excuse me?" The deep voice startled the little child, Taemin snapped out of his gaze in an instant, and the awkward conversation began. The first of many.
