Attack of the Stephanie-wants-to-use-too-many-descriptive-terms-hyphens again entry about lipstick
I found several tubes of Brick Red and Pure Burgandy Coty 24 lipstick on ebay. Lips currently stained beautifully. The lipstick unfortunately no longer has the delicious old-linen-grandma's-attic-powdery-sweet smell of my beloved Coty L'Origan powder. In fact, it smells (and tastes) old in a not-good, stale, unfresh-whatever-kind-of-oil-they-used-in-lipstick-I'm-sure-I-don't-want-to-know-anyway way, but I care not. It's taking me back to being fifteen, painting myself up like a Nell Brinkley girl, and practicing my alluring bluestocking-by-day-vamp-by-night look in my bedroom mirror. I may just break out my antique hair waver. Too bad I don't have a gas lamp jet to heat it over.
