I'm going to pick on a friend of mine . . .
We text each other a lot, but for some reason she only responds once every 24 hours, so a simple "conversation" may last a few weeks, although we might see one another between text messages. Observe:
A: I just ran into . . . um . . . I forget her name
Me: (2 minutes later) Umm, that's cool?
A (24 hours later): Lynn! That's it! Haha!
Me (2 minutes later): Congratulations, you have just won first prize for the most random text message ever!
A (24 hours later): Haha! Yeah, that was kinda random.
So, that tiny little blip of a "conversation" took three (3) days. Absurd.
