I took a letter from
everindelible! And everything else!
I only have 33 songs whose titles begin with the letter u.
1. Reply to this post and I'll assign you a letter.
2. List (and upload) 5 songs you love that begin with that letter.
3. Post them to your journal with these instructions.
o1.
Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny - Neil Cicierega
o2.
Un Monde Parfait - Tres Bien Feat. Ilona
o3.
Urban Pressure - Grim Northern Social
o4.
Under the Sea - Samuel E. Wright
o5.
Ur - David Byrne
o1. It's the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny, come on!
o2. So bouncy! I wish I could sing along more.
o3. I've had this song for a long time, and although I do enjoy it I don't listen to it enough.
o4. UNDA DA SEA! DOWN HERE IT'S BETTER, DOWN WHERE IT'S WETTAH, TAKE IT FROM ME!
o5. If anyone gives all 13 minutes of this a proper listen, props. I love this song. It does take about four minutes for the song to go where most people consider somewhere. I was entranced the first time I listened to this song.
aohatsu gave me the letter B! So many B songs!
o1.
Barracuda - Unknown Artist
o2.
Brian Wilson - Barenaked Ladies
o3.
Because the Night - 10,000 Maniacs
o4.
Belief - Gavin DeGraw
o5.
Build Me Up Buttercup - The Foundations
o1. My friend Sara played me this song in her car while we were on the way somewhere. Perhaps for writing club. It was the first or second time I'd ever heard anything like it. It's just a guy and someone who sounds kind of like Stewie from Family Guy going over how to pronounce 'barracuda.'
o2. I love this song. I rock out to the bongos more than I probably should.
o3. Second live track in the B's...Because I like this song.
o4. I have really enojyed Gavin DeGraw forever (I got this album for Christmas so long ago that it was a North Christmas, after we'd just moved to Georgia), but in kind of a superficial way. I never gave this song a good listen and had it mean anything to me, or stick, until I read a Glee fic that featured it in a chapter.
o5. I totally did a ballet routine to this song when I was really little. It has a special place in my heart forever. I like to sing with the back up and the ba-da-daa's. :)
