There's a timid knock on the door of Kanaya's room.

AC: :33 < *ac scratches at the door to be let in!*

It barely takes any time at all for Kanaya's door to swing open, and the troll inside to quickly usher her small friend inside.

"Hello, Nepeta."

[nepetaleijon]

Nepeta slips in quickly and flops down into the pile of fabrics at once.

"Mrowr," she complains.

Kanaya follows at a more sedate pace.

"Do You Need A Few Moments To Calm Yourself, First?"

[nepetaleijon]

"No I'm okay."

She sits up and gingerly prods one of the pieces of fabric she's sitting on, something silky and deep pink.

She arrives at Nepeta's side soon enough, settling beside her on the fabric.

"Alright Then. Now, Did You Want To Wear A Dress, Or Are You More Comfortable In Pants?"

Nepeta shuffles her feet a little. "I nefur wore a dress before. Is it hard?"

[bloodyvirgo]

"I Don't Find It Particularly Troublesome, No, But It Depends On One's Taste. Shall We Find You One To Try On?"

[nepetaleijon]

"Yes let's!"

Beat.

"I should purrobably take off my coat at least."

[bloodyvirgo]

"Yes," she answers, already moving through the room to gather up various dresses with Nepeta's own symbol on them, and a few without.

"I Will Set Up A Screen For You, Too, If You Wanted Some Privacy While You Change."

[nepetaleijon]

She shrugs agreeably. Might as well!

Pretty soon she's behind the screen, with various garments strewn on the floor.

Kanaya...is in her element. As they burn through dress after dress, Kanaya comes up with more and more outfits, borrowing bits and pieces from other outfits to make a whole. Sure, it'd take some alterations, but that's easy.

Nepeta is fascinated at first, then discouraged, then frustrated.

And, finally, wailing.

With the wailing comes comfort, and Kanaya wraps her arms around the distraught girl.

"Don't You Worry, We'll Find You Something You Like. We Still Have Plenty Of Time."

She leans against Kanaya. "But what if I look terrible in efurything?"

"You Won't. I'll Make Sure Of It, Even If I Have To Stay Awake Until Friday, Making You One From Scratch."
